Antiquing

Things to keep in mind when antiquing. Walking the isles takes time and energy. Don't come hungry, and choose function over beauty when selecting your footwear. If you find something you love, grab it. Hunting antique markets is not a "think about it and come back" kind of place. Be ready to purchase items by bringing a tape measure, making space in your vehicle and having cash on hand.

Perfectly Imperfect Flower Arranging

Flower arranging has quickly become one of my favourite hobbies, as of late. I love picking out the colours, using unexpected vases and most importantly having fun with it.

I attended a flower arranging class taught by Corriander Girl  at Penney & Co. last year, and she inspired me to create whimsical, wild, not-so-perfect arrangements. It took a lot of pressure off creating the perfectly tailored bouquet. I am by no means an expert, but here are some quick tips and tricks that I have learned along the way.
